Miro Zecevic launched Mina Mar Group investor relations (IR) and mergers and acquisitions firm (M&A) in 2005. Mina Mar Group rose to the top fairly quickly in the muddy OTC Markets swamp world that is loaded with market makers and broker-dealers and their associates who can best be described as dealing from the bottom of the deck”. We did this by being upfront and centered with all service providers and back-office staff of any OTC issuer and their shareholders. Even today the bait and switch continues by many IR and MA operators. The company quickly grew to around 300 staff members with multiple branches. Miro has obtained huge success against short sellers, and stock bashers naysayers. Today we operate out of our West Palm Beach Florida location with a dedicated crew of 10 staff.

How We Got Started

So, if you are new to the OTC markets or you have a rip-off story to share take heart that you are not the 1st person that this ever happened to and you won’t be the last. The way I wound up in the M&A business is by someone taking my company public in 2003 in an RTO and absolutely destroying it. The stock price collapsed from $2.00 and settled down at 0,005c. So what did the SEC do? Nothing. Sure they looked into it and at the end of the day, they let it slide. The perpetrator laughed all the way to the bank. Instead of crying foul though it taught me to fight back and become his competitor. We became the largest IR and MA firm in 5 years before the economic crisis of 2008-2012. Even to this day these bottom feeders team up with transfer agents and other providers (lawyers, accountants) and they hoodwink OTC Markets on a regular basis. OTC Markets is a quasi-regulator of type and they relied upon the service providers to do the due diligence. We know what works and what doesn’t in OTC. The good players, and all the bad actors. I do consult real companies and companies that have aspirations of growing to the next level and are utilizing OTC as a step in that direction. I will not sugar-coat anything and I am a straight shooter. I am known to examine any past damage, problems, or situations that can tamper a company from moving forward due to negligence or wrongdoing by bad advice from those that either unknowingly gave bad advice or knowingly provided advice that benefited only one side. I am a problem solver and my advice consist in creating a win-win for all involved this is why I receive so many referrals I do not burn my bridges. Transparency is always the best policy and a great attribute as this avoids any misunderstanding, and you always know where you stand, allowing both parties to move forward reaching the goal that they foresee or wish to attain for their business in order to propel it to the next level. The next level means creating an exit strategy for your company, taking the company public to raise funds, merge with another company to create a more robust business, the reasons are endless, but the approach needs to be meticulously planned to avoid any hiccups along the way.

I have extensive knowledge in macro finance, creative financing, real estate, franchising, and licensing matters. I follow economic trends; however, I do not consider myself to be an analyst. I did monetize and capitalized on the real estate boom in the late 80s’, the Dot-com craze of the 90s’, and the subprime finance of the mid-2000s’ (’01-’06). I operated a successful company in each of these market uptrends. My hidden passion has always been yachts/boating. I’m truly working in my dream job and very excited about the future prospect this industry has to offer.
